Booking Terms & Conditions – Logiset Ltd

1. General Overview

These Booking Terms & Conditions apply to all logistics and freight transport services provided by Logiset Ltd, acting as an intermediary between customers and transport providers (carriers). By making a booking, you accept these terms in full.

  

2. Booking Process

  • All      bookings must be made via our website, email, or authorised sales      channels.
  • Bookings      are only confirmed once payment is processed (if required) and      confirmation is issued.
  • It is      your responsibility to ensure all details provided — including weight,      dimensions, and nature of the goods — are accurate.

  

3. Collection & Delivery

  • You      must ensure access to both pickup and delivery sites for the agreed time      slot.
  • Delays      caused by incorrect addresses, inaccessibility, or lack of onsite contact      may incur waiting or rescheduling fees.
  • It is      your responsibility to load and unload the cargo, unless otherwise agreed      in writing.

  

4. Goods Transported

You must declare the correct nature of the goods. The following items are prohibited or restricted:

  • Hazardous      or explosive materials (unless declared and pre-approved)
  • Perishable      goods (unless booked with temperature-controlled transport)
  • Live      animals
  • Illegal      goods or substances

We reserve the right to refuse transport of any goods that pose a health, safety, or legal risk.

  

5. Packaging & Labelling

  • All      goods must be safely packed, clearly labelled, and secured to prevent      damage.
  • The      driver may refuse to transport goods that are dangerously or improperly      packed.

Logiset and its transport partners will not be liable for damage caused by inadequate packaging.

  

6. Weight & Size Limits

  • Standard      road freight weight limits apply in accordance with UK Highway Code     and DVSA rules.
  • You      are responsible for ensuring your load complies with legal limits.
  • Overweight      or oversized goods may result in cancellation or additional charges.

  

7. Delays & Force Majeure

While we strive for punctual delivery, we are not liable for delays due to:

  • Traffic,      weather, road closures, or vehicle breakdowns
  • Strikes,      civil unrest, or acts of God
  • Customs,      regulatory checks, or security procedures

We will inform you promptly of any significant delays and work to reschedule delivery.

  

8. Cancellations & Changes

  • Bookings      cancelled more than 24 hours in advance may be refunded in full or      partially, depending on the nature of the service.
  • Cancellations      made less than 24 hours before scheduled pickup may incur full charges.
  • Any      changes to delivery details must be submitted in writing and approved      prior to dispatch.

  

9. Liability & Insurance

  • Liability      for loss or damage is limited under the Road Haulage Association (RHA)      Conditions of Carriage 2020, unless otherwise agreed.
  • Additional      insurance can be arranged upon request for high-value cargo.
  • Claims      must be submitted in writing within 7 days of delivery.

  

10. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide      accurate booking and contact details
  • Ensure      appropriate handling equipment is available
  • Be      present or have an authorised representative at collection and delivery      points
  • Cooperate      with drivers to allow efficient and safe operation

  

11. Complaints & Dispute Resolution

Any complaints must be submitted within 14 days of the service completion. We will aim to resolve disputes quickly and fairly. If unresolved, disputes will be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
